In 2007 Tara and her family moved to Livingston Montana from Kauai, Hawaii where Tara started working as a teller at Sky Federal Credit Union. After 5 years in the financial industry, Tara decided for a change in 2012 and enrolled at the Academy of Cosmetology in Bozeman. 

Tara graduated from the Academy in November 2013 and has been a successful booth renter and opened Cowgirl Divas Salon in 2015. In May 2018, Tara became the owner of the now Lyons Mane Salon.

After getting married in 2018, her husband Michael decided to also attend the Academy of Cosmetology. Michael graduated in October 2019 and joined his wife in the salon to provide all the same services! 

Tara and Michael have a son named Philip who you will most likely see when you come into the salon along with their dog Lanza. (She would love to sit in your lap while your getting a shampoo or style!)

They love making people feel and look Be-YOU-tiful by transforming their haircut or color to what they dream of!
